Just few month ago Apple announced App Store, and first thing what I did was meeting with all software friends I have - I try to infect them with the idea of making apps for iphones - it’s virgin market which must works well.
As you can understand I didn’t succeed with that and forget about that staff
Ask someone who have contract with AT&T to buy one iphone for me (minus I still need contract to get 3g connection)
Find some student and pay him $100 to use their data with SSN
But unlockув version on ebay.com for $700
At the end of these journey I found some comment at the net about something like prepay option to get contract without SSN. First time when I came with this idea to AT&T store the guy just told me that this is impossible.
Next time was today morning me and my wife just decide to try one more time and you know nice guy Gabriel ( in braces like us :) told us that it’s possible but we should pay deposit which can be from $150 to $750 depends on something.
After short process of filling all form we get answer that we can setup account at AT&T if we put at untouchable deposit $500 - we can take that money back in one year if it’s all going ok with us and we don’t stop using AT&T
So we gave money to AT&T with hope to get it back in one year, to buy next iphones ;)
And now we have 2 new iPhones with unlimited 3G internet!
It was not so excited like with first iPhone but still - nice it’s a nice gadget!

extremely smart move for apple - as soon as everyones love mac’s interface and design but afraid of “other” OS in situation you will have no choice but use that bloody Mac OS - the no way to escape form Macs - water everywhere :)
