Anyone who has any kind of experience with online business (blogger/entrepreneur/affiliate) knows how important it is to have fresh useful information. No surprise that really useful information can come only from practicing entrepreneurs like Jeremy Schoemaker. His blog Shoemoney - Skills to pay the bills™ is exactly that kind of resource. Jeremy is definitely an acclaimed honored internet business man. He has pretty interesting profile on LinkedIn: Jeremy “ShoeMoney” Schoemaker. You’ll also find that last Jeremy’s Award was “Time Magazine’s Person of the year” - sounds cool - does not it ? Although, I think you will be happy to know that you are this Person of the year 2006 too ;) Time’s Person of the Year: You - the guys did not feel like bothering with the statistics and counting and just made a nice “You-move”, have not they? ;) But it was fun to read it on Jeremy’s profile. On his profile you’ll find another more straits honors as well. Most of them are from affiliate activity.I personally find interesting for myself a few last posts like practice My Favorite Little Wordpress Tricks and Plugins and just theoretical Ohhh Google Dropping Contextual Competing? Another ShoeMoney 2007 Prediction Coming True or “well digged” post Huge Adsense ChangesAlthough this little review was sponsored by Shoemoney it turned out to be a real treasure full of sound advice for web professionals. Well known team of 37singnals.com lost its domain updatelog.com - someone took it during ending of registration.

It’s very strange for this kind of domain. Guys from 37signals not started this business yesterday. Interesting thing is that I lost one of my domain in same way - I didn’t receive notification from my registrator and same domain hunter company took my domain.

If you are using Basecamp service and have(had) site on updatelog subdomain hurry up and notify your clients and partners about this - for login in your account use seework.com domain insteed of updatelog.com

AJAX apps in the Java language

Posted on May 19th, 2006 in Sites Reviews, Interesting stuff | No Comments »

If you are programmer you will find this staff usefull, definately. It’s all about so popular now AJAX and this time there is Google AJAX\Java toolkit.
As google has wrote:
Google Web Toolkit (GWT) is a Java software development framework that makes writing AJAX applications like Google Maps and Gmail
easy for developers who don’t speak browser quirks as a second
language. Writing dynamic web applications today is a tedious and
error-prone process; you spend 90% of your time working around subtle
incompatabilities between web browsers and platforms, and JavaScript’s
lack of modularity makes sharing, testing, and reusing AJAX components
difficult and fragile.
Anyway check it out.

Extremely bright thing.
